Success - The Law of Attraction Backward Step

As an instructor at Outward Bound, I belayed people backwardsover c5B4liff edges so they could abseil down a rock face. The usualresponse of participants is fear, ranging from mild excitement toshaking terror.

The hardest part of the experience is right on the edge when youhave to hang your rear end way out and straighten your legs when allyou want to do is hug the rock and cry 'mama'. It's the most unstablepart too, where to step back up is risky and awkward, and going downfeels so wrong and terrifying.

Coaching people through this point is always about taking little babysteps, and letting the fear run through them, breathing it out, notholding it in. A significant amount of trust and faith in the support -the belayer and the gear - is required to quell the 'what if' scenariosthat spark the fear response. They are taking a literal leap of faith.

With each little step, they soon discover that it's not as hard as theyimagined. I tell them to 'relax' their supporting hand, usually clenchedtight on the rope. They discover that they are safe enough to wave.

This is usually a good time to remind them to pause and look around.The view from a cliff top is pretty awesome. That's when I get asmile. That's the golden moment for me - when someone realizes theyare more marvelous than they imagined, that they are braver than theythought, and they have freed themselves from the biggest thingholding them back - their fear.

Once the euphoria of achievement fades however, they can loseconfide59Bnce and belief that they can do it again.

Success is more than just taking a leap of faith; success ischanging your beliefs so that you know in your bones that you cando anything.

And this is what happens all the time with my clients: they are goingbackwards over the cliff of the unknown, to a new business, a newjob, a new relationship, or a new way of thinking and feeling. Itfeels awkward and unnatural. Sometimes they get stuck right on theedge - scared to continue, and weighing up the risks of going backto where they were.

Then they learn to let the fear pass through them and discover thewild darkness of faith, trust, and support. And in that instant of givingup being able to know what will happen, they flood their reality withconfidence and discovery of a new perspective. They awaken to justhow amazing they really are.

Then we anchor this euphoria with a belief changing process thatgives them confidence permanently.

Once you change your beliefs, there is no going back. The body andsoul know the truth: you are an incredible miracle of potential, just asyou are, right now. Feeling the fear fully and changing beliefs let'syou shift from myopic tunnel vision of worry, to knowing you are safeand seeing a wonderful horizon.

Anything is possible then. You just need to take the little baby steps,breathe, and enjoy the view.

Reversing Time - Living From Future To Past

How do you live your life? If you're like most people, chances are you think of time in a linear fashion. What happened before was your past. What is happening now is your present. What is yet to happen will be your future. And we tend to think of it in that order, things moving forward from past to future. Well, I'm here to turn all that upside down for you! I'm proposing that life actually occurs in reverse - that we live from future to past. So sit back, open your mind, and you might just come away with something that could empower you for the rest of your days.

Let's examine a simple scenario of going to the movies. Assume that you saw a movie last night. From your present vantage point, that movie would be in your past - you went yesterday. In the present, you're doing something now. Tomorrow you'll do something else. And in our hunger for order, we assume all of this occurs in a straight line. Yesterday I went to the movies. Today I'm doing what I'm doing. Tomorrow I will be doing something else.

That's not actually how it went down though. You've had it backwards. What really happened is you planned going to the movies ahead of time. In other words, you first created it in your future. Then, when you actually watch the movie, you are living your present. And the moment the movie was over, it became your past. Think about it. If you had changed your min5B4d at the last second and gone to dinner instead of a movie, dinner would have been your past. The movie didn't become your past until AFTER you experienced it in the present.

A lot to digest? Well hang in there, and consider it all starts with our misconception of time and space. We tend to think in terms of time passing, when in reality, time is not moving at all. It's YOU who is passing through time. That's why the whole concept of past and future is a big hoax. They don't even exist, except in your mind! The past and future are a story you make up, from your present perspective, and only come to life in our need for order (that's why clocks were invented!). The only truth - and all we ever really have - is the present moment. It's all happening right now. Or as Neale Donald Walsch puts it in 'Home With God', everything occurs "sequentaneously" (sequentially and simultaneously). Ask yourself, does anything ever happen outside the present? Was it ever 'yesterday'? Will it ever be 'tomorrow'? It can't be, because all there ever is, is now.

So the idea of living from future to past is mind-altering and life-changing. It means you get to create everything, that nothing happens by chance - and you truly can have anything you desire! This is what Law Of Attraction is all about. For instance, championship football teams don't first win the Super Bowl, then play like champions, then imagine being champio5B4ns, do they? (that would actually be past to future) No, they picture themselves as champions first (creating their future), then they play like champions (in the present) - and only then do they win the Super Bowl (and in that moment, winning the Super Bowl becomes their past). So if you want something, you must first create it in your future. Allow yourself to see, feel, and experience already having it. Then, in the present, take action as though you are already living in the future you created. And guess what will happen? You'll get extraordinary results, which will ultimately become your past. So you see, you actually get to create your past too!

Living the 'old' way - from past to future - takes the control from us, leaving too much to the unknown. In that model, stuff happened yesterday, more stuff is happening today, and who knows what stuff might happen tomorrow. That's living by default, and it isn't very empowering. The future to past model places destiny completely in your hands. You get to imagine whatever it is you wish for yourself - anything at all - and once you put it out there, all you have to do is live like you've already received it. Your results will then be realized AFTER you've gotten what you want. And the best part is, things will come to you with much less effort than ever before.

You are always "prepaving" (a term from Esther and Jerry Hicks' 'Law Of Attraction') your future with your thoughts. W5B4hat you think about today is what you will become. Your thoughts will literally materialize in the physical world. Or, as it is so succinctly stated in 'The Secret', "Thoughts become things!" So start building in your future first. Decide what you will have, do, and be. Then, in the present, live like you've already gotten what you want. Trust and believe it's already on its way to you. Finally, allow the results you deserve into your life, and be grateful for everything. You can receive anything you can conceive! And your past is not set in stone (even though you thought you couldn't change it!). You're creating it, writing your history, right now. So make it the best past you can imagine!

Question: I've been feeling out of control with my eating lately. I'm not 'fat', but I'm not at my ideal weight either. I make some good food choices, but just as often, I pick foods that lower my energy and make me tired. And sometimes, I'll even eat to the point where I get a stomach ache. Please help.

It's interesting you start by saying you've been "feeling" out of control. There's bad news and good news here. Law of Attraction says 'Like attracts like.' So if you're feeling negatively about something (and I'm going to take a leap of faith and assume "out of control" is not something you desire), you're sending that5B4 vibration out to the universe, and by Law, it must send you back more of the same - in this case, more out of control feelings. Now here's the good news. You were able to recognize what you were feeling, and this means you can change it. So how do you change your feelings? By changing your thoughts. Thoughts immediately precede feelings. So if you start to think of yourself as a person in control of your eating, you will feel that way too. The key here is taking the attention off things you don't want (i.e. being out of control, having low energy, being tired), and giving attention to what you want. The Law of Attraction is impartial and doesn't care whether you desire something or not. It simply gives you more of what you focus on. So even though you know "not being your ideal weight" is bad, you're still thinking about it - and the universe is giving you back more of not being your ideal weight. The trick is to be positive with your thoughts, and ask yourself what you do want (i.e. I want to be thin, in control, energetic) At first, it can feel like you're trying to fool yourself, but you have to get past that point. Because when you do, you'll be amazed how you start attracting what you desire - because that's what you're giving your attention to! Try it, and let me know how it works for you.

A Surprisingly Simple Way to Make Life Give You What You Want

Does anyone really get excited at the prospect of losing out on the good things of life that others are enjoying? Doubtful, although there may be a few scattered exceptions.

"How long must I say my affirmations, visualize what I want, cut out pictures from magazines, tweak my goals, and affirm that the things I want from life are shortly coming my way - before they actually show up?" you are wondering.

"Are delays denials? Is the "Law" of Attraction LISTENING? How long is this "showing up" going to take? The days and months are speeding by. I still drive a beater car. I've got more bills than money. Where are my new clients? By now I expected better results than the nothing I'm getting. What's going on? One thing's for sure, if God's got favorites, I'm feeling like I'm not in His select group."

Have you ever felt this way?

"Where are my RESULTS? Am I wasting my time telling my inner mind, 'I am prosperous, I am a money magnet. Day by day, in every way, I'm getting better and better?' Maybe this 'Law of Attraction is a con job? Am I being taken to the cleaners by believing in and saying my daily affirmations - which are very time consuming?"

These are good questions. "What's the missing ingredient if the 'Law5B4 of Attraction' really works - as all those Law of Attraction authors say it does?"

Let's start with feelings, which the lecturer Neville Goddard during his lifetime told his audiences again and again, "is the secret," in other words - there is an art to realizing our desires and that secret is feelings.

There is an aspect of our whole mind, some people call it the subconscious, that "does not originate ideas but accepts as true those [ideas backed by powerful feelings] which the conscious mind believes to be true and in a way known only to itself objectifies the accepted ideas," Goddard wrote in his small book Feeling Is the Secret.

If we do not control our feelings we impress our "subconscious" with undesirable states. By control of our feelings Goddard did not mean denial, restraint, or suppression, "but rather the disciplining of the self to imagine and entertain only such feelings as contribute to your happiness," not, I'll admit, an easy thing to always do.

Our inner mind "contemplates a feeling as a fact existing within itself and on this assumption proceeds to give expression to it," Goddard wrote. "The creative process begins with an idea and its cycle runs its course as a feeling and ends in a volition to act." His point? "Think feelingly only of the state your desire to realize." We do possess, he insisted, the "freedom to choose the kind of mood you assume, but the expression of the mood is th5B4e secret of the subconscious."

"Make no mistake about this," he wrote. "If, as you prepare for sleep, you do not consciously feel yourself into the state of the answered wish, then you will take with you into...[sleep] the sum total of the reactions and feelings of the waking day, and while asleep you will be instructed in the manner in which they will be expressed tomorrow."

"We think in secret" - and feel - "and it comes to pass; environment is but our looking glass," the poet William Thackery wrote. What if you were given a printout at the end of each day of every thought, and strong feeling, that had its moment of glory in the sunlight of your mind? Ouch. What would be the ratio of positive to negative thoughts? Could the "Law" of Attraction be getting many mixed signals from you? One moment, happy? Another moment, discouraged? Another time, really, really, really upset? What's the "Law" supposed to do to help you? How will it answer you? Exactly how many different images can we place on the photographic plate of our minds daily and not blow the transmission lines radiating from ourselves to that great Central Answering Station, wherever it's located.

Life is a series of moods and most of certainly go through many climate changes during the course of a day, which makes it difficult for our "unseen allies behind the scenes" to know what we truly want or how to help us attract it. Do we desire that anger to manif5B4est as a circumstance in our lives or do we want a new Volvo parked in our driveway? Time to decide, right?

If the "Law" of Attraction could be personified as a series of "invisible allies behind the scenes," I suspect we so confuse them they have no choice but to wait on us until we get our feelings, desires, and moods in order and gain a measure of control over them. Steady streaming pulses of intention radiating from us that are crystal clear and held steadily, despite life's hurricanes, is very helpful to those behind the scenes who are waiting for us to let them know their daily assignment, don't you think?

Dr. Robert Schuller who built a ministry and his Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California tells the story, in his writings, of Dr. Lacy Hall who years ago recruited a large number of persons for an experiment. Each was asked to keep a diary of their daily life - to record what they thought about during the course of a day.

After a year and a half, the data was collected, calculated, and computerized at the Stone-Brandel Center in Chicago. The results? "The people who kept these diaries came up feeling depressed or discouraged all the time." Most, not all, but most "experienced 90 percent negative input." Only 10 percent of the thoughts they had were positive! "These were the people who had unique relationships in marriage, in the office, at home. And they also had connections with outstanding posit5B4ive thinking churches. But on an overall average," Schuller writes, "Dr. Hall said this group had 75 percent negative input."

Dr. Hall's comments were: "We are fighting against tremendous odds. The average human being (who's trying to be positive) is fighting a losing battle, unless he's tied into something unusual that constantly feeds him [or her] positive emotions."

Is it any wonder we don't have the "up" feeling all the time? Is it surprising that the "Law" of Attraction is working to give those who want to quit and give up a reason to do so, even if they are saying "I am positive," "I am well," "I am a money magnet"?

And our negative feelings really energize us, don't they, far more than our feelings of happiness ever do?

So, if we're among the ranks of those who curse the day while affirming how beautiful and exciting it is to be alive, prosperous, and well, guess what? The stronger emotions win out because they send "cancel messages' to the Call Center Operators who take and post our strongest emotional responses on computer screens or bulletin boards within the offices of the "Law" of Attraction Building. Angry? Upset? "This is not going to be a good day for Don," Don's helpers tell each other, "but what can we do? What he's angry about seems to be what he wants because there's so much feeling behind it."

"Okay. Somebody get on it; make it so for Don," I can hear a 'Law' of Attraction supervisor 5B4say.

"The words 'I AM'...are potent words," A.L. Kitselman wrote. "Be careful what you hitch them to. The thing you're claiming has a way of reaching back and biting you." Watch, in other words, what we place great feeling into; it may, indeed, reach back and bite us.

"I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace, harmony, health, love and abundance," Edith Armstrong claimed in her writings. "Then, whenever doubt, anxiety or fear try to call me, they keep getting a busy signal - and soon they'll forget my number." Armstrong does not tell us how she managed to do this, but apparently by doing so she was able to set in motion the positive side of the "Law" of Attraction and had far less bites to show for doing this than a number of her negative thinking contemporaries.

"When you have chosen a particular perspective on life," Paul Chivington insists in his book Seeing Through Your Illusions, "the universe will rush in to greet you from that perspective." So true.

"Intense fear is alive with faith." - Genevieve Behrend, Your Invisible Powers

And, I might add, expectation! "I knew it. I just knew it. Things were too good to be true. Why am I not surprised?"

Let's take a look briefly, at why it's so important how - with feeling - we talk to ourselves every day and, in the process, get the "Law" of Attraction working for rather than against our best interests.

I love this analogy Dr. Rebecca 5B4Beard gives in her book Everyman's Search: "Sometimes I have found it easy to describe what goes on in the body by making a picture of a submarine. Let us think of our cells as the man in a submarine. They obey orders implicitly. The captain of the submarine is the only one who can look through the periscope and see the outside world. The men in the submarine must take the captain's word for the conditions in that outside world. They cannot see for themselves. They must act upon what he tells them.

"You, the reasoning you, are the captain of your body. The men in the submarine are your cells. They cannot see outside. They must accept your word implicitly. You are the only one who can look through the periscope. So, some morning, like the captain of the submarine, you look out and send back a report of the conditions in the world about you, as you see them.

"You send the word down to the men below: 'All fog. All mist. Nothing clear. Icebergs ahead. Danger all around.' That is equivalent to saying, 'Everything is going wrong,' I can't see my way out,' 'Everything seems against me,' 'Obstacles meet me at every turn,' 'The world's going to the dogs.' How would you feel if you were one of the men down in the submarine? You would put your head in your hands and say, 'What's the use of washing the dishes and cleaning the galley? What's the use of cooking the food? Why keep up the daily regime?'

"Can you see 5B4the cells of your stomach that are at work down there trying to digest your food? You often discourage them with your words. You feed them on a diet of frustration and fear and blame them for not being efficient.

"Then suddenly one day you look through the periscope and say, 'The sun is out. The fog is gone. No more icebergs visible. Full speed ahead.' And the men down there breathe a sigh of relief. The danger is over. 'Let's go to work. My, we have a lot to do. We have to clean this place, wash up these dishes, and get rid of this collected waste.' They sing for joy. When you get up tomorrow morning are you going to see sunshine or fog? Are you going to send joy to your cells or are you going to paralyze them with fear?"

"I wish we could all take a vacation from negation," Beard says. "I wish for one day we could exalt everything in our bodies." The same sentiment holds true, I believe she would have said, for how we view, and feel about, the circumstances of our life.

A shift in our feelings, what Neville Goddard, called "the secret," will make all the difference in how the 'Law' of Attraction works for or against us. This shift is illustrated in Lynda Madden Dahl's book Ten Thousand Whispers:

"Surrounding you is an infinite field of probabilities, representing all possible variations of events you could ever experience. See these probabilities of bright tiny sparks of silver against a backgroun5B2d of black velvet. Now see many larger gold stars randomly spread throughout the field. These gold stars represent the probabilities that are most likely to be actualized in your life based on this moment's thoughts, attitudes and beliefs.

Add our moods and feelings here, also.

"Now, pretend you change your thoughts from, say, fear to excitement about an upcoming event. Look what happens to the field of probabilities. Some silver stars become gold sparks, and some gold stars become silver sparkles. Now change your attitude about a past event and see what happens."

To be rich, feel better, and attract more of what life has available specifically for you, watch what you image with feeling and emotion. A picture is merely a mental form and it has all the characteristics of "any waking event, thing, or situation that we might see in everyday waking reality," Gerald Epstein, M.D., writes in Healing Visualization. "The difference is that, unlike objects perceived when awake, they have no volume or mass. In short, they have no substance. Yet they do have ENERGY. We might think of these images as our mental children. We give birth to them to act on our behalf as agents of healing," and I might add "prosperity."

When we image what we desire, and with feeling, we are creating a subjective, or inner, reality, "but it is a reality nonetheless, with the power to affect our bodies," and I would add "our lives."

By now you've probably figured out that I'm placing your powerful emotions and Desires under the same tent. "The secret of success lies in this," Robert Collier writes in Riches Within Your Reach:

"There is inside you a seed of God capable of drawing to you any element you need, to bring to fruition whatever of good you desire. But like all other seeds, its shell must be broken before the kernel inside can use its attractive power. And that shell is thicker, harder, than the shell of any seed on earth. Only one thing can break it - heat from within - a Desire so strong, a determination so intense, that you cheerfully throw everything you have into the scale to win what you want."

Here's one way to do this. "During the course of a day I may imagine many things, but instead of imagining lots of small things, I would suggest that you imagine something so big it includes all the little things. Instead of imagining wealth, health and friends, imagine being ecstatic," Neville Goddard suggests.

What is Goddard saying? In effect, "Reduce the idea of ecstasy to the single sensation, 'Isn't it wonderful?' Do not allow the conscious, reasoning mind to ask why, because if it does it will start to look for visible causes, and then the sensation will be lost. Rather, repeat over and over again, 'Isn't it wonderful?'"

Be Rich! Just for the fun of it. Isn't it exciting to be alive - right now? You can get the positive aspects of the 'Law' of Attraction on your side by reminding yourself, with feeling, that "Somewhere, within your soul," to quote Neville Goddard, "there is a mood which when found, means health, wealth and happiness to you."

"Your emotions are a result of your belief and thoughts," William Walker Atkinson writes in his 1908 classic Thought Power, which is about the "Law" of Attraction. "Ordinary appreciation a Right Brain activity that is enormously intensified by suggestions from the Left Brain," the British novelist Colin Wilson says. The most important factor in vision, he indicates, is a "Precise knowledge of what you are trying to do," an important, not to be overlooked, first step."

"We should all be bringing some seemingly impossible things to pass," Florence Scovel-Shinn says in The Game of Life and How to Play It.

Right now "feels" right to do this, don't you agree?

Five Sure Fire Law of Attraction Practices

When learning about the Law of Attraction, you find that there are many things that you have to consider and apply in your life. You have to be willing to go inside yourself and change some basic patterns that you have been using; many of them you didn't even know existed within yourself. Here are some thoughts you'll want to consider when applying the Law of Attraction.

Everything in your life started from a thought and a feeling

And that thought and feeling came from you. Everything is a reflection of what you have been thinking and feeling. It's hard to believe, isn't it? It's hard to grasp that people and situations that you really didn't want in your life came into being from you. So instead of balking and pushing against this thought, think back to every situation that you have had that has been less than happy. Think about what led up to that point. Were you focusing on some negative thoughts? Were you getting involved in fear feelings? And lo and behold, the situation came crashing into your sphere? This can be changed just by focusing on what you do want in your life, and not on what you don't want in your life. At the same time, think of a time when what you wanted to happen did? What were your feelings and thoughts that led up to that moment? You will find that everything really came from you. The great thing is that you can change your life; you and you alone can do5B4 it with the help of the Universe.

Finding gratefulness in everything you do

I know this sounds a bit Pollyanna but it is the truth when applying the Law of Attraction. It's easy to be grateful when you get everything that you want but it's not that easy to be grateful when the opposite occurs. With the Law of Attraction it's important to find things to be grateful for all day long, even something as mundane as cleaning out the cat's litter box. Being grateful ranks right up there with feeling love and these two emotions can change your life by remaining in that positive state as often as possible. So what do you do? Find what is grateful in every situation, even cleaning the litter box. Focus your gratitude on the loving cat that you clean up after, it's really that simple. This goes for everything: situations, people, and anything else you can think of. Anyone can be grateful for happy things. It takes a great LOA practitioner to be grateful in a 'less than grateful' situation.

Don't get involved in the extremes

How many times have you had someone call or pull you aside at work and tell you all the problems of the world? You get wrapped up in what they are saying and it stays on your mind all day long. When you go home, you tell your spouse all about it and call your mother and do the same. This is called getting involved in the extremes. Someone else tells you something and you build upon it and 5B4you get involved in thoughts and feelings that do not help you in the least. Walk the middle road. When someone comes to you with problems there is nothing wrong with listening and helping out if that is what you want to do, but make sure to stay out of the extremes and walk the middle of the road. Don't veer over to the sides of the road that represent the extremes. Getting involved emotionally can wreak havoc with your own personal being. We all know that getting personally involved with your thoughts and feelings will only bring you more to be concerned about. Take the road of the Tao. Observe what is around you and help with what you can, but keep your emotions in check and walk the road of least resistance.

Focus on what matters to you

Applying the Law of Attraction is about focusing on what we want in our lives and not focusing on what we don't want. We find many of us can't help but think of 'what could' happen, usually conjuring up a negative scenario in the process. Focus on what you want in your life. Focus on the joy that you have and are going to have. Focus on this incredible world wherein we are able to create whatever we desire. Focus on the joy certain people bring to you. Focus that your rent is paid this month.

Don't focus on "if" your rent be paid next month. Don't focus on the faults of the people in your life. Don't focus on how bad this world is and how it is crumbling apart. Don't5B2 focus on the lack of joy in your life. Don't focus on what you don't want to be a part of your life. There is a big difference in what you put your attention to. Don't let a few bad moments in the day ruin your focus. The less attention you put toward those moments, the fewer and farther between they will become. The more attention you put toward the good things in your life, the more you will have of those kinds of moments.

Be aware of opportunities

How many times have you felt you missed an opportunity of some sort? Most likely the 'missed' opportunity is squelched either by fear or by just not being aware it was even there. When you miss an opportunity remember that the Universe will bring another your way if you want it to. The key phrase is if you want it to. When there is a missed opportunity how you react to it is what will bring you another opportunity or another missed opportunity. If you ask the Universe for another one, it will come but if you wallow in the fact that you missed the first one, then the Universe will attract similar events right back to you. Being aware is imperative within the Law of Attraction. For instance, a woman can believe she is being selfless and giving when she acts like one of the guys, refusing to pull on her man, and making little or no demands. If someone in your life cannot stand your activities, where else in your life do you settle for such disrespect? Perhaps you do not respect yourself enough to insure you attract a man or woman who will respect you.

You do not have to sit around and wait for your wishes to come true. You are part of the universe that is conspiring to give you your heart's desires! Declare your desires. Imagine them in minute detail. Feel how wonderful it will be when they arrive, as if they have already arrived! Make a list, write it down and make it concrete. Then, take inspired action! In particular, when you are attracting either a romantic partner or a significant improvement in your present relationship, pay attention when inspired action nudges you to be and do that which you desire to attract to you. "Why Did I Attract THIS?"

That's the question we all need to ask all the time. Many people have seen "The Secret" and have been studying the Law of Attraction, so they're starting to be conversant in some of its principles.

In my practice as a psychic medium and medical intuitive, I am starting to notice that my clients don't get the whole picture of just what this attraction thing is.

Simply stated, the Law of Attraction is a law of physics that applies to your life in that what you put your attention on is naturally drawn to you. Most people look at this law thus: "How can I attract more money/love/etc.?"

And that is great. That is the best use of the Law of Attraction and if you are consistently attracting things, people, relationships, and experiences that please you, I congratulate you! That is fantastic!

Unfortunately, that is not the case for about 99% of us out there. Most of us continue to attract at least a few things that we're not too crazy about and here's the kicker: NOBODY KNOWS THEY'RE DOING IT.

By focusing our attention on things, experiences, relationships, and feelings--that we like or do not like--we attract them into our lives.

You read that right: THAT WE LIKE OR DO NOT LIKE. Everything in your life right now, like it or not, has been attracted to you BY YOU. Ta-dum! You are the author of your own life, so I hope it's a book you really enjoy reading.

Just this past week, I have talked to three clients who were actually offended when I suggested that they had attracted experiences into their life that they didn't like. "Why would I attract THAT?" they demanded. "I don't want THAT, it's BAD."

Right, I get that. I understand that you don't consciously want car trouble, health problems, bad grades, bad breath, or whatever. Who would?

And that's exactly why you need to ask, "Why did I attract THIS?" Anything that gets your attention for better or worse, ask the question.

Here's a dire example. My husband died several years ago and left me with two small children to raise and very little life insurance. Why did I attract THAT?

Why indeed. I may never know all the reasons, but I know there are some, probably many. And with some of these larger things (and maybe the small things too), rest assured that, at some point before your birth, your spirit got together with other spirits to plan some of the important events you wanted in your lives as humans.

This is why we sometimes have trouble understanding-we don't communicate with our own spirits very well. It's why we attract both things we like and things we don't.

The good news is that, once you recognize that your thoughts and energy have created what you've got--you have all the power to create what you DO like from here on out.

Easier said that done? Absolutely. Impossible? Not at all.

I've just urged you to ask the question, "Why did I attract THIS?" for anything you encounter that is not the best possible thing. (It's a good idea to ask the question for those things you like, too, so you learn how to bring more of those into your life.)

And here's another lesson in this seedy underbelly of the Law of Attraction: what about undesirable things that happen to other people who are in your life? Well, they are in your life, so you have attracted them, right? Parents, children, spouses, etc. So what happens to them is part of your life too.

Let's say that your spouse contracts an illness. Did your spouse attract this illness? Yes. Did you attract this illness to your spouse? No, BUT you attracted an ill spouse into your own life.

Aha! Do you get that? So the illness itself, as a THING, is serving multiple purposes for multiple people.

"Why would I attract THAT?"

GREAT QUESTION! Please continue to ask it.

There can be any number of reasons why you would be served by your spouse's illness, to wit, an opportunity to care for this person who has given you so much, proof to yourself that you are strong and capable in the way you deal with this, an urge to make changes in your life... the list of possibilities is endless.

4 Law Of Attraction Tips For Attracting More Money

There are a couple of tips that can help you attract more money into your life by using the law of attraction. Using these tips will speed up the law of attraction process in order to allow you to attract more of the green stuff, more money into your life. Here are 4 tips to help you attract more cash.

1. Give every chance you get. It's simple, when you see a can for a nonprofit organization sitting at the counter of your local convenience store of restaurant, drop in a buck or two. When you are walking into your local super market or shopping center and see the salvation army sitting out front, be sure to drop a couple of dollars in there as well.

In fact, any chance you get to give some money, make sure you do it without any hesitation or regret or clinging to the money you are giving away. Now you don't want to do this if all there is between you and starvation is five bucks. Make sure you take care of yourself first, however, be sure to give a few dollars any chance you get.

2. Focus on how much you would like to attract into your life and when. Visualize about and pay close attention to how much you want to attract to you and exactly when you expect it to show up in your life by. Also be sure to write it down, including the time line for when you expect it on a piAD4ece of paper.

Keep your focus on how much you want and when you want it. Keep your mind away from what you currently have, or do not have for that matter and focused completely upon how much you want and when you want it. Visualize having that money in your hand right here and right now as you spend it.

3. Avoid thoughts and emotions of lack and not having enough. As you do the above tips, be sure that you are feeling the emotions of abundance and prosperity. If you are giving away money and are scared that you won't have enough, or thinking about how you don't really want to give it away, your not on the right track.

Be sure to feel abundance and wealth through out your entire being as you think about the money you want. Completely avoid thinking, talking, and feeling as though you don't currently have enough or that you are living a life of lack as though those thoughts, words, and feelings were the plague. Be sure to focus and feel and talk about everything as though you live a life of complete abundance and wealth financially.

4. Don't limit the universe on how it will deliver. Be sure to simply focus on the money that you want and pay attention. That's all you have to do and the universe will deliver the means to make it happen.

Many people will try to figure out how they will make the money or what they are going to do in order to get the money. If you don't already know exactly how to align yourself with that money and allow the universe to deliver it to you, then you have to keep yourself completely open to any and all possibilities.

The moment you decide that you will get it this way or that, you begin to limit the universe and all of it's infinite possibilities. Avoid this at all costs. Simply focus on what you want and pay attention. Eventually the universe will deliver a way for you to have exactly what you want.

3 Key Things You Must Do to Succeed With the Law of Attraction

The law of attraction is a mysterious wonder that is quickly catching peoples' attention all over the world. It is something that has been talked about since Biblical times, and taught by some of the greatest spiritual teachers of the world. But if the law of attraction has been around for so long, why do so many people have problems attracting what they want into their lives? The answer is, that people are making the law of attraction more difficult than it needs to be.

If you have read the book "The Secret", or listened to Oprah Winfrey's latest soul series on XM radio or her website, then you already know that it is possible to attract anything into your life. Wealth, health, love, success, are all waiting for you in abundance. So, you may have tried some of the tips offered in these books or web casts. And then what happens? What you are asking for doesn't come, and you say something like "It's not working for me". Let me repeat that last sentence, "It's not working for me." The minute you say these words, or something negative along these lines, you cancel out whatever it is that you have asked for. The Universe takes everything very literally. And when you say something like this, or even worse, feel it (because thoughts and feelings are powerful things too), the Universe hears "Stop working for this, they don't want it".

Doubt is the number one thing that people have trouble with when trying to use the law of attraction. You must never, ever doubt that the law of attraction works. You don't need to know how or why it works, because that is not important. Just trust that it works and leave it at that. The moment you begin to let go of that doubt and just trust that what you have asked for is on its way to you, you will start to see the law of attraction work for you.

Don't try to make the law of attraction a complicated process. Just keep your attitude positive, and remember these three key ingredients to attracting what you want into your life.

1. Ask. Be literal and specific in what you are asking for. If it is money, say specifically how much money. If it is a particular goal, say out loud exactly what the goal is. Don't just say, "I want to be successful". Instead, say "I want to be successful in achieving (say your goal here)". After you ask out loud what it is you are wanting to attract, write it down. Some teachers suggest that you write it down 10, 15, 20 times. Your mind likes to see a visual. Write it as if you already have it. For example, if you are asking for $25,000 to purchase a new car, you would write down "I have $25,000 in my bank account right now to purchase a new car". Another helpful tip is to start a vision board. Get a simple bulletin board and place it where you will see it each day upon waking. Then put your written goals or a picture of what you want on the board, and visualize yourself already having it. Once you've done these things, don't doubt that it is on its way to you. That brings us to our second thing you must do.

2. Believe. Once you have asked for what you want, all you need to do is believe that it is on its way to you. Don't ask questions or play tug a war in mind. Many deep thinkers like to analyze to much, they wonder how will it come. Or when will it come. They begin to get impatient and then doubt creeps in. Don't let this happen to you, it is crucial in your success with the Law of Attraction. Just believe, it's that simple.

3. Receive. It could be hours, days, weeks, months or years. It all depends on how your attitude is. You must be positive in order to receive what you have asked for. This allows you to be on the same vibration the Universe needs you to be in order to deliver, so what you have asked for can be sent to you. Negative vibrations will block it from arriving. The more positive you can be, the quicker you will attract what you have asked for.

So there you have it. It's not a complicated process. Just remember these 3 key things and apply them into your life, and watch the magic happen.

As you become more aware of the choices you are making5A1 you will need to be honest with yourself about your incentives for making them. If you are always excessively busy and have too many responsibilities it insulates you from having to take the time to reflect on and face your self imposed blocks. You can blame your too busy life and your very long To Do List for not being able to realize your dreams.

Making changes, even ones we desire can be extremely scary and stressful. You may attend a workshop or read a book and become inspired about your dreams but as you step back into your daily schedule you find yourselves just too busy to take the time to focus on your dreams and create a plan to manifest them. You can not get started; you just can not find the time and are inundated with responsibilities. The reality is that you are creating the busyness in your life!     Everything that happens in your life is all through your perception. What you consider as a hard or bad day may not be a hard day to someone else. The perception is coming from you personally. But there are some situations that can be hard for everyone. For example: losing a loved one or learning that someone is in poor health. Can these situations be changed so that you don't have a hard day and so the involved individual will be well, or not pass on? The situations that are mentioned above involve other people. And when you have other people involved, they are creating their own lives through the Law of Attraction.

    How do you handle it when something bad intrudes in your life, and how do you continue to use the Law of Attraction? Get through it with a perception of understanding..

    We know our exit date before we arrive on Earth. We already know when we will pass on. This is part of being a creator and returning to where we came after having this grand experience called life. When you cross the path of someone passing, by knowing that this person picked this date and chose the how helps with the understanding of "why." Yes, you will miss that person but you understand he had to go home just like we will one day. Does it mean you won't miss them or grieve? Absolutely not. It just helps 2238with the sad feelings when you understand. You will miss them and you will grieve, but do your best to think of the wonderful times with your loved one instead of the pain caused by their leaving. By doing this, you will be better able to maintain what attracts to you, and will understand this natural event.

    It would be great if we could step in and create someone else's world; one where they don't get ill. But by doing so, we would be encroaching upon the world that is there for them, and them alone, to create. Again, by understanding how the Law of Attraction works, it makes it easier to look at the seemingly bad days, especially when they involve other people, and put it into perspective.

    Now what if you just can't avoid one of those days? Nothing as severe as health or death, but just one of those days that makes you feel like the world caved in.

    Your todays are a result of what you were feeling and thinking from the past, just like your todays are creating your future days. Knowing this makes you want to feel good all the time so that you can have a carefree life in your future. It's important to know that you most likely didn't intentionally create a hard day; you may have had many hard days that created the feelings and thoughts that caused your today.

    How do you stop this vicious cycle? Just by knowing you can change your future days. When you know that you are having a hard day and you have a choice whether to ride it through with ease or live through it with struggle, then you are intentionally creating that day. So even if a day starts a bit rough, flip into a better space so that you will enjoy days of ease.

    When you have that hard day, remember two things: Number One: Ride through the day with balance. If no decisions get made on that day, it's okay, just ride the day with ease. Number Two: Instead of just letting the day take you over and unintentionally creating even more hard days ahead, just let the day be good through your eyes and intentionally create a day that finishes wonderfully.

    We all have those days, but by understanding how it happens and by letting the rest of the day pass by with ease, your hard days will number less and less through the Law of Attraction.

    Attraction - Does it Take Work, or Do Things Come Automatically?

    Work is a funny thing. My friend Frank will sit at his desk all week shuffling papers, and griping about how hard his job is. Then he'll go out hunting or fishing with his buddies and expend far more energy than he ever does at the office, all in the name of having fun.

    So this Law of Attraction stuff, will it take work? That may be the wrong question. For now, let's just say it'll take effort.

    If you hate doing inner work, it'll be an odious chore that you'll avoid most of the time. On the other hand, if you love meditating, ASSERTing or affirming and enjoy all the time you spend building your dreams, it'll be a pleasure to you.

    In fact, if you've really understood what this series of articles is about, wild horses probably won't be able to pull you away from your inner-work sessions.

    You may have read in the past that your programming or affirmations will bring the object of your goals to you automatically and effortlessly. I've even written a few things similar to this myself. However, it's important that you understand promises like this within the proper context.

    So let's take this question head-on. When you're doing your inner work "properly," does life 222Dbecome effortless? Are the objects of your requests all handed to you without any physical effort on your part?

    In the occasional wonderful case, yes. In most cases, no.

    So what good is all this stuff, then? If we're investing oceans of time and get nothing special in return, then why bother?

    Because there's more to success than bank balances, and there's more to work than calories expended.

    My friend Frank and his buddies happily inconvenience themselves and work extremely hard having fun on a fishing trip. What do they get out of it? Sometimes they don't bring back a single fish, but they always swear they had tremendous fun.

    What, then, is success? And why should you go to all this trouble trying to "make the Universe bring it to you"?

    Fair question. But it's based on a misunderstanding. It's true that the Universe will sometimes bring you pleasant surprises and help you forward toward your goals in unexpected ways. But you're not doing all that affirming, ASSERTing and programming to make the Universe do anything. You're doing it to change the foundational stuff in your own mind.

    When you affirm, program or ASSERT, you're feeding new data about reality into your own mind, to shift your own fundamental beliefs about yourself and about how the world around you works.

    In other words, Law of Attraction work changes you, not the Universe. However, the Universe will automatically begin responding differently to you once you have formed those new beliefs at a deep enough level.

    And that's where the real power of Attraction work is found.

    Firstly, your creed should always be: "Abundance is My Natural Birthright".

    As inhabitants of our beautiful planet, all we have to do is look around to see that abundance is our natural birthright. Nature is magnificently abundant; rich in color, growth and expansion. There is no scarcity on this planet, except that which exists in our minds.

    The belief in scarcity is fundamentally unsound, yet it persists throughout society. All wars, crimes, vandalism, and poverty exist purely due to the belief in scarcity. On an individual level, extensive research has shown that money is the primary issue about which most couples argue. Consumer debt is the highest it's ever been. Ninety-five percent of businesses close down within their first five years of operation. All this is due to the solitary reason that we believe there is not enough to go around. Not enough money, love, opportunities, resources, or time.

    We often justify our lack by making abundance wrong. "Money causes greed". "It's not spiritual to be rich". If we believe that rich people are greedy or non-spiritual then we automatically prevent ourselves from tapping into our vast resources of creativity to become wealthy. Money does not cause greed - scarcity does. It is only when we think that there is not enough to be shared by all, that we resort to arguing and fighting over money or other perceived 'scarce' resources. A Course In Miracles states, "In a world of scarcity, love is meaningless and peace is impossible".So why do we allow ourselves to believe in scarcity and lead meager or purposeless lives?

    Carl Jung (1875-1961), the Swiss psychologist and former colleague of Sigmund Freud, broke away from Freudian psychoanalysis over the issue of the 'unconscious mind'. Jung was one of the first Westerners who introduced the world to the understanding of the three main levels of the mind: the conscious mind, the sub-conscious mind and the super-conscious or 'collective unconscious'. Combined with numerous research and empirical studies, we now know that the subconscious mind (which is divided into several layers) is actually designed to deliver what our conscious mind wants. The problem is, however, that our emotional memories are stored in the first level of the subconscious mind. These memories include all our negative beliefs, thoughts and past experiences. For example, when our conscious mind says, "I want a new car", the thought pattern is immediately sent to the subconscious to deliver a new car. If, however, there is a negative belief stored in the emotional layer of the subconscious that says "I don't deserve a new car", then the thought pattern is immediately rejected.

    Although this is a simplistic example, it demonstrates how our unconscious negative patterns, thoughts and beliefs are responsible for creating limitation and scarcity. Therefore, if we eliminate these limiting beliefs about ourselves and our existences, there are virtually no limits to what we can have or do.

    When we access the experiences that initially created the negative thou5B4ghts held in the subconscious mind and clear the blockages, then over time, as we clear the emotional layer, we eventually reach the blissful state of our super-consciousness, which is divine love, creativity, enlightenment and abundance.

    Limiting beliefs and painful experiences gradually build up energy that becomes stuck. Think of something you would like but have had great difficulty in manifesting, and you will immediately feel this 'barrier' of energy. Feel its resistance. It often feels like a brick wall. This is simply compressed negative energy.

    Robert Kiyosaki has said that you can only have in your life what your 'context' can contain. Context is like a container; content refers to what you can fit into the container. If your context is as small as a pebble then the content, or what you allow yourself to have, will be minuscule.There are two methods that we can use to eliminate the negative emotions, thoughts and beliefs that block abundance from entering our lives. They are called Subtractive and Additive processes. Subtractive processes include modalities such as breathwork, transcendental meditation, or past live regression. Additive processes include goal setting, creative visualisation, treasure mapping or affirmations. We need both in order to, firstly, eliminate the negative programming that is stored in our subconscious, and then secondly, use the additive processes to create new, positive thoughts and beli52Eefs.

    When we follow a path that includes both subtractive and additive processes, we can live an abundant life. However, we must remind ourselves that this is a path, not a quick fix. We need to allow ourselves time and dedicate ourselves to a long-term commitment to love, joy and prosperity in all areas.

    There is a wonderful quote from the book, "Creating Money" by S. Roman and D. Packer, which says, "It takes time for the new to come, and many of you quit too soon".

    "The Secret" and the law of attraction are great and many of us are quite excited to use it. But how can you use it practically in business. I'm going to show you a step by step guide how I use the law of attraction to improve my business by 300%. These are the 7 steps:

    Step 1: Realize the law of attraction i5B4n business.

    To start using the law of attraction, you need to realize the law of attraction is already working in your business. Is not something new but something already there! Your sales figures, customers, prospects, size of business, employees, system and everything is the result of the law of attraction. It seems easy to start but it might be quite tough in reality. This is the most important step to start.

    Step 2: Set clear goals for your business.

    Set clear goals. 'Clear goal' that I mean is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. If you don't have these 5 elements in your goal, it's hard to use the law of attraction. Visualizing and attracting 'more sales' is very hard and confusing. If you are visualizing and attracting '$10,000 more sales every month', it will be more easy to get excited and send out positive thoughts to the universe.

    Step 3: Visualize it often.

    Spend every morning to sit or lie in a relax posture and visualize. Visualize means 'To see yourself already living a life which your goals are met.' First, see how your business, suppliers, customers, employees, your life and family around you will look in picture. Second, experience and feel it with your emotions.

    Step 4: Take action.

    Take action to achieve your goals. Using the law of attraction is not a practice which you visualize 5 minutes in the morning and wait success to fall 5B4from the sky. You need to take action. When you start to use the law of attraction, you'll realize there's a change in your action, mindset and attitude towards things and people. You might get new ideas and take new action that is different from what you did before.

    Step 5: Sustain the attraction.

    Law of attraction doesn't exist only in the morning. If you think that using the law of attraction is just about visualizing in the morning and complain or worry for the rest of your day, you are likely going to fail. The law of attraction is a universal law that exists every moment in life. It'll be tough to attract what you want by just attracting it 5 minutes and spending the rest of your day attracting it to the opposite. Visualize your goals and sustain positive thoughts and emotions for the whole day.

    Step 6: Share with people.

    Share your goals with people who will be influenced by the goal. For example: When you business grow bigger, you might be able to benefit your customers. Share your goals with as many customers as possible. When they get inspired and excited by your goals, they will send out positive thoughts and emotions that attract business success for you too. You can share your goals with employees, suppliers, family and business partners too.

    Step 7: Repeat it everyday.

    The power of the attraction is powerful only when you use it consistently and repeat the practice. 5B0You didn't make one sale to build a huge business, you make many and ongoing sales to build a huge and stable business. Same with the law of attraction. When you use the law of attraction consistently and on-goingly, your goals will become closer and closer to you.

    What You Didn't Know About Law Of Attraction

    Have you ever wondered why a certain Brad fell in love with Angelina and not some Nancy or Britney? Why did your dream girl in your school not like you but someone else whom you think isn't in anyway better than you? Why do beautiful girls in most cases fall for an average guy and vice versa? Well, scientists say science knows why it is so.

    Laws of attraction are a set of laws whose postulates include 5B4the nature of bodies which attract each other. But it is derived from scientific laws and attraction between things rather than human beings.

    One of the earliest contributors to laws of attraction is Plato, a great Greek philosopher who built on earlier concepts prevalent at his time, that of attractive forces and repulsive forces and gave a conclusion that likes tend towards likes, meaning things of same nature attract each other very much.

    Later, Albert Magnus, a Dominican priest who is known for his works on coexistence of religion and science applied the laws of attraction to chemical systems and gave a theory containing four postulates.

    Isaac Newton postulated that the chemical attraction is due to certain forces which followed certain rules very similar to that followed by the planets, those rules or laws are the three laws of planetary motion. He included these views of his in his 1704 book Opticks, a book about light. So most people believe Isaac Newton was in fact responsible for the discovery of laws of attraction. But some people do believe that ancient greek people knew from the fact that, in magnets opposite poles attract and like poles repel, opposites attract and likes repel.

    Later Etienne Geoffroy who was involved in translating Newton's works into French, proposed a law stating that 'when two things combine, which have a habit of combining with each other, and a third substance which is has great5B4er attraction towards one of the two substances, then these two will combine to force out the remaining substance from the system'. Etienne geoffroy also published the very first affinity table based on his law.

    After him, J.P. Macquer proposed a law comprising of six laws which included two laws proposed by Isaac Newton and Etienne geoffroy. It also included four new postulates about laws of attraction. Later, he also published a book in which he had mentioned about seven types of affinity.

    Coulomb's law framed by French scientist Charles Augustine de coulomb gives the formula to calculate electrostatic force of attraction between two electric charges in space.

    James Clerk Maxwell suggested that there was an electro magnetic field all over the space, which exerted a certain force on particles that are electric in nature. He also said that this electro magnetic space was affected by the nature and movement of these electric particles. He framed the Maxwell's field equations which can be compared to laws of attraction and repulsion pertaining to the electro magnetic field.

    Sociologists normally apply laws of attraction to human attraction. Some apply the analogy with Plato's laws and say people with same thoughts attract each other. Some argue, citing Newton's law saying opposites attract.

    Is One Law of Attraction Teacher A Good Thing?

    There are two different types of people when it comes to learning about the Law of Attraction. There are those who will love to read anything on the Law of Attraction, regardless of who the material is written by. And then there are those who find a specific teacher who they resonate with and will stick to them like glue.

    Is there a right or wrong with this? Is it healthy just to rely on one teacher?

    Of course, there is no right or wrong with any of this. You've may have heard the phrase "when the student is ready, the teacher appears". This is especially true with the Law of Attraction.

    The teachers that you attract in your life that feel right to you, are the best teachers you could possibly find. What you may notice is that the majority of spiritual teachers are all teaching the same thing, yet this same information can be presented in so many different ways that some methods resonate more with different people.

    I'm the type of person who likes to stick with certain teachers. I've noticed that over the course of 4 years I have gone through about 4 or 5 different teachers that have all led me up a spiritual ladder.

    As I've progressed through teachers, its clear to me that I've either outgrown them or a mental shift has taken place within me and I no longer fully resonate with that teacher any more.

    A good example for me is with Abraham-Hicks. I'm a big follower of their work and for about one year I fell in love with their teaching. I would dismiss other teachings that were available to me because I enjoyed their material so much. Now a couple of years later, their teaching no longer resonates with me as much and I have other spiritual teachers who I prefer to give my attention to.

    What I know for sure is that the right teacher will always find you when you're ready for it. You can never get anything wrong in this physical world, so there's no need to worry about anything. Whatever you're doing and whomever you're learning from right now is perfect for you.

    There will of course be other teachers who arise and resonate with you over the years. Embrace them and be grateful for their presence in your life.

    Law Of Attraction And Feelings

    "Feelings" I said. Are you kidding me? I have to be aware of my feelings to be able to use the Law of Attraction (LOA)? I'm a guy for starters. I played high school football and hockey. Rode motocross and thirty years later I still play floor hockey a couple times a week. Needless to say it was something I was going to have to deal with. Your feelings have a lot to do with what you attract into your life.

    Lets look at the range of emotions that we can experience. We have gratitude, love, and joy, all the way down to hatred, anger, or despair. Can you see on both ends of the spectrum how strong emotions equate to strong vibrations. Both will manifest result. Hatred can make someone actually kill a person. Love on the other hand can actually help mend a broken relationship, if you focus on it.

    Now when you want to manifest something positive in your life you need to raise up your vibration while putting out your desire to the Universe. One of the best ways to raise up your vibration is to focus on gratitude. What are thankful for? If you're reading this that means you're alive and that means you still have the opportunity to produce a positive result. That's something to be grateful for.

    Another way I have used to raise my vibration is by picturing a little baby giggling at mean. Most of us have had this happen to us sometime in our life or seen it on TV. How can picturing this not make you feel better? Raising our vibration helps us get better connected to our Source. A better connection allows for better manifestation.

    Why Did That Manifest?

    Do you ever stop and ask yourself how or why you just manifested something completely unwanted?

    The scratch on the car.

    The negative person or situation.

    The delayed mail you were expecting.

    Whenever you stop and ask yourself "how did t5B4hat happen?", you may be completely correct in your initial assumptions. Maybe you were getting too attached the car and wanted it to look so nice that you manifested a scratch.

    You could be correct. Then again, you might be no where near the truth of it.

    By placing your attention on the "how's" and "why's" you're just giving more attention to the unwanted thing. When you give something your focus and attention for long periods of time, you're going to manifest more of what you're thinking about.

    Instead of getting yourself all worked up by the unwanted circumstance, remove your attention from it and be OK with whatever has happened. If you observe anyone's life, be it a Zen master, a Law of Attraction guru or just your next door neighbour, you will quickly see that everyone, regardless of who they are, experience unwanted circumstances.

    When you truly realize that no one lives a so called 'perfect' life, you can more easily let go of the bad things and start to see it as what life deals you. Life will constantly deal you all sorts of hands. Usually when bad things are happening, they happen to help you grow and to become more consciously aware. So in actual fact, you can begin to see all of these negatives as positives in the long run.

    Once you've gotten yourself to the place where it doesn't matter whether you attract something unwanted or not, that is when you will begin truly living a life worth living.A99

    Here's a couple of additional ways in which you can practice letting go of the "why's" when something unwanted happens to you next time...

    Become Present - Live your life in this moment and not the past. It's easier said than done, but if you take a second to think about it, NOW is all you ever have. Yesterday and tomorrow do not exist. The only thing that exists is... right now. Right now is all that will ever exist.

    Take your attention away from the past (what has happened) or the future (what will happen) and place your attention on NOW. When you live in the present, you have no use for thoughts that are in the past. So the question "why did that manifest?" won't even be of any significance to you since you're living in the present and not the past.

    Observe Something Wanted - As I mentioned earlier in this article, by giving your attention to something UNWANTED, you will begin to attract more of it. One of the best ways to forget about unwanted things and to remove your attention from the unwanted things is to simply look at something you DO want or something you DO enjoy.

    So in the example that your car got scratched, instead of focussing on the scratch, go inside the car where you can't see it and enjoy the inner surroundings of the car. Take it for a drive and enjoy the feelings you get from driving your car. Do whatever it takes to remove your attention from it (usually means separating yourself from the incident) and bring your attention to wanted things that you enjoy.

    This will ultimately help you attract more of what you want, and less of what you don't.
